Lost & Found Policy

At Ghar Apna, we strive to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for all our residents. While we make every effort to maintain safety within the premises, tenants are advised to take personal responsibility for their belongings.

In the event that any personal item is lost, misplaced, or stolen, Ghar Apna shall not be held liable for compensation, reimbursement, or replacement of such items. However, our caretakers and housekeeping staff will extend full cooperation and reasonable assistance in helping residents search for missing belongings whenever possible.

To ensure better security, every tenant is provided with a personal wardrobe/cupboard along with a locker facility for storing valuable items safely. Residents are strongly encouraged to keep all important and expensive belongings secured inside their lockers at all times, rather than leaving them unattended on beds or in common areas.

This includes, but is not limited to:

- Mobile phones

- Laptops and electronic devices

- Chargers and accessories

- Wallets and cash

- Jewellery and personal valuables

- Important documents

In cases where CCTV cameras are installed and footage access is requested in relation to a missing or stolen item, Ghar Apna may provide access or review assistance as per internal policies and legal procedures. However, tenants are requested to note that CCTV access or footage review may take approximately 24 to 48 hours to process. Immediate access cannot be guaranteed, as multiple internal approvals, verification procedures, and legal compliance steps may be involved before footage can be shared or reviewed.

Residents are therefore requested to cooperate and allow sufficient time for the process in case any investigation or CCTV review is required.

Ghar Apna recommends that all residents exercise caution and maintain proper care of their belongings to avoid any inconvenience or loss.
